The Forever Tree
A Poem by Minahil Mehr
Watches over mankind as the sands of time pass by,
Stands so tall, head high up to the sky.
Each branch one kind of people, extending to the far,
Like the moon accompanied by many a star.
For many a generation doth stand the great forever tree,
Always there from dawn to dusk of time, although many may not see.
Leaves that grow so lush with the gradual ticks of time,
And finally fall once more when the moment is prime.
Under the clouds, the heavens, the sky, the sun,
The forever tree is its own shadow till day is done.
From the aesthetic sunrise to the orange sunset,
The forever tree is an eternal protection that all beings in the world shall get.
